Rafał Leszczyński Transfer from Śląsk Wrocław to Wisła Płock

Rafał Leszczyński left Śląsk Wrocław after the club's relegation to the I liga. He signed a two-year contract with Wisła Płock, a newly promoted team in the Ekstraklasa. Leszczyński's decision to change teams came after a successful season where he kept 13 clean sheets. His contract with Wisła Płock is valid until June 30, 2027.

Rafał Leszczyński is very close to leaving Śląsk Wrocław to join Wisła Płock. The move was initially reported by Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl, suggesting that the deal is nearly finalized. Bartosz Wieczorek from TVP Sport confirmed that the cooperation will soon be established, with Leszczyński expected to sign a contract with the newly promoted Ekstraklasa team in the coming days. He is anticipated to become the first-choice goalkeeper following Bartłomiej Gradecki's departure. Leszczyński will sign a two-year contract.

Rafał Leszczyński is not welcomed at Śląsk Wrocław, despite having a contract until June 30, 2027. Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl believes that Leszczyński's move to the newly promoted Ekstraklasa club, Wisła Płock, is virtually certain. This transfer would allow him to continue his career in the Polish top league. The experienced goalkeeper, who was a key player for Śląsk Wrocław in the 2023/2024 season, will have the opportunity to fight for a starting position against Bartłomiej Gradecki and Maciej Gostomski at his new club.
