Przemysław Frankowski leaving Galatasaray?
Przemyslaw Frankowski has officially joined Stade Rennais from Galatasaray on a one-season loan with the option for an extension. Rennes will pay 5.5 million euros for this two-year loan, divided into 2.75 million euros for each year (2025-2026 and 2026-2027). Additionally, there is an obligation to purchase, estimated at 7 million euros including bonuses.
Stade Rennais and Galatasaray have reached an agreement for the loan of Przemyslaw Frankowski for the 2024-2025 season. According to L’Équipe and Foot Mercato, the Polish right wing-back will join the Breton club for two seasons with a purchase obligation estimated between 5.5 million EUR and 6 million EUR. Frankowski, who previously played for Lens, will sign a contract until June 2029. Despite a transfer to Turkey six months ago for 10 million EUR, Frankowski did not convince at Galatasaray.
Stade Rennais is finalizing the last details with Galatasaray for the loan with an option to buy of the 30-year-old Polish right-back Przemyslaw Frankowski. The transfer is very close to completion with only a few details left to be settled. Unless there is a sudden change, Frankowski is expected to play for Stade Rennais this season. The player, who has also been linked with Juventus, is under contract with Galatasaray until June 2028 and has a current market value estimated by Transfermarkt at €7.00m.
