Southampton striker Princewill Ehibhatiomhan has joined Salford City, who are described as League Two promotion hopefuls, on a loan deal until the end of the season. This is the 20-year-old's second loan, having spent the first part of the campaign at Ian Holloway's Swindon Town, where he scored once in 14 games before being recalled by his parent club in January to rejoin the under-21s. Ehibhatiomhan stated he was excited to be at Salford and that the manager had followed his career, adding that he hoped to contribute as much as possible. Manager Karl Robinson described the forward as strong and powerful, saying he will bring a real force to the team's attack. Robinson also noted that Ehibhatiomhan is young and determined, and he thanked Southampton for sanctioning the loan.
