Precious Ugwu has transferred from Ajax to FC Volendam. The 19-year-old defender, who was part of the Netherlands U19 team that became European champions by defeating Spain U19 1-0 in the final, has committed to a three-year contract with FC Volendam. Last season, he played 27 matches for Jong Ajax in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie and will now gain experience in the Eredivisie with the newly promoted club.
