Officials of Śląsk Wrocław revealed that they are working on extending the contract of 24-year-old Polish attacking midfielder Piotr Samiec-Talar. They have started talks with both the agents and the player. Club president Remigiusz Jezierski said that they are at the stage of renegotiating the contract so that it suits both the club and the player. If an agreement is not reached, Piotr Samiec-Talar will be able to sign a contract with a new employer in the winter and leave after the season without a transfer fee, with only training compensation due. Samiec-Talar joined Slask Wroclaw in July 2018 and has one cap for the Poland U18 team. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €450k.
