Following their promotion, Vicenza is looking to strengthen their left flank with a player who can alternate with captain Filippo Costa, a position the club had also considered strengthening in January. In addition to Tommaso Corazza of Bologna, the club is reportedly targeting Pietro Beruatto. Trivenetogoal.it reports that Vicenza has an interest in Beruatto, who is expected to return to Pisa after a loan spell at Spezia. Beruatto is valued for his experience and versatility, having also been deployed as a left-sided center-back in a three-man defense this past season. A transfer would be a return to Vicenza for Beruatto. He previously played for the club during the 2017/18 season in Serie C and the 2020/21 season in Serie B, with a period at the Juventus second team in between.
