Gomis sustained a fractured radius in his right arm during a match against Manchester City. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Palermo is looking into options to strengthen their goalkeeper position, with Gollini being one of the candidates under consideration alongside Jesse Joronen, who has recently left Venezia. Gollini has a contract with Roma that runs until 2027, and Transfermarkt has estimated his market value to be €1.00 million. Besides Palermo's interest, Cremonese and Al Hilal have also been associated with the goalkeeper.
