LA Galaxy is interested in signing Philippe Coutinho, a 33-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder who became a free agent last Thursday. He terminated his contract with Vasco da Gama, citing psychological problems as the reason. Consequently, a move is not considered very realistic at the moment, and the MLS club will probably have to wait. Coutinho has 68 caps and 21 goals for Brazil, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €3.50m. He joined Vasco da Gama from Aston Villa on a free transfer in July 2025. His last transfer that involved a fee was in July 2022, when Aston Villa signed him from FC Barcelona for a reported €20 million.
