The Rio de Janeiro club extended the contract of 31-year-old Brazilian centre-back Philipe Sampaio until November 30th. He will be a free agent, even though Botafogo is looking for a right-sided defender for next year. Sampaio joined the club in March 2022. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €350k.
