However, negotiations with Shakhtar have reportedly stalled this week as the Ukrainian club continues to insist on a 43 million pound fee for Kevin, prompting Fulham to consider more budget-friendly options like Otele. Otele joined Basel in January following a loan spell from Al-Wahda in the UAE, with the Swiss club subsequently purchasing his contract for 3 million euros. Currently, Transfermarkt values the winger at 4 million euros, and his contract with Basel is set to run until June 30, 2028.
