A potential transfer for Neumann could be influenced by the future of Sassuolo centre-back Tarik Muharemović, who is attracting interest from clubs in Italy and Europe. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Aston Villa, Manchester United, and AFC Bournemouth are all pursuing Muharemović. The departure of Muharemović would make a move for Neumann more likely and would also provide Sassuolo with increased funds.
