Union Berlin, in their search for a replacement for striker Ilyas Ansah who is moving to Hull City, have targeted German striker Phil Harres from Holstein Kiel. According to 'Transfermarkt.de', an initial offer was made for the 24-year-old. Harres joined the club in July 2024. The bid, reportedly six million euros with an additional one million in bonuses, was immediately rejected by the second-division club. For Holstein Kiel, a sale is not an option so close to the transfer deadline. Harres' current Transfermarkt market value is €2.50m.
