Alemannia Aachen has signed 24-year-old Greek center-back Petros Bagalianis from the Greek first-division club AE Larisa. Bagalianis is the team's first winter signing and was signed to stabilize the defense. Managing director Rachid Azzouzi described Bagalianis as an experienced defender who has played regularly at a high level, highlighting his robust playing style and two-footedness as beneficial qualities. The player, who previously played for Olympiakos Piräus and the Polish side Stal Mielec, made eleven appearances for Larisa in the current season. Bagalianis stated that he had heard a lot of good things about the club and that he wants to help the team succeed as quickly as possible.
