Zvonimir Boban, president of the board of Dinamo Zagreb and a talent for Sky Sport, commented on the performance of his fellow countryman Petar Sucic with Inter. Boban advised that Petar Sucic should leave Inter, stating that Sucic is among the best in the world and is not being used as he deserves. Boban added that it makes no sense for Sucic to stay.

Gianluca Di Marzio states that 22-year-old Croatian international Petar Sučić is part of Inter's future plans, but also notes a scenario in which the club could agree to sell him if offers are received. According to Di Marzio, there are offers that Inter would find difficult to refuse. Any transfer fee for Petar Sučić could significantly exceed his current market value of 30 million euros, and offers above 50 or 60 million euros would be seriously considered in Milan. There is speculation about interest from clubs in the English Premier League, as well as major Spanish and German clubs who are able to meet Inter's financial demands. Sučić, who has 15 caps and 1 goal for Croatia, joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in June 2025 for a reported fee of €14 million plus bonuses. Real Madrid has been recently linked with the midfielder.
