An Austrian club has officially completed the signing of Petrović from Javor. According to reporter Lorenzo Lepore, Javor received 2,200,000 euros for the transfer. Lepore also stated that the Austrian club secured the signing of Petrović ahead of Parma, Metz, Rennes, Genk, and others.

Serbian centre-back Petar Petrović, 20, is the subject of serious interest from FC Metz. Representatives Goran Čelar and Nikola Petković have stated that Europe is the priority. Javor Ivanjica are expected to break their all-time transfer record, with a fee expected to be between €1.5M and €2M. Petrović, who joined the club in July 2024, has a contract until 2028 and has been capped twice for the Serbia U21 team. Parma and Genk have also been linked with the player, whose market value is estimated at €1.5 million by Transfermarkt.
