Metz, Parma, Brest, and Genk are named as clubs interested in 20-year-old Serbian FK Javor Ivanjica centre-back Petar Petrović. The Serbian youth international reportedly wishes to continue his career in Europe, despite interest from clubs in the American MLS and Saudi Arabia. FK Javor Ivanjica is seeking a fee between €1.5 million and €2 million for the player, hoping to set a new club transfer record. Genk previously had a €1 million offer rejected in January. According to Lorenzo Lepore, the club remains interested and may make another attempt. Petrović joined his current club in July 2024 and is under contract until June 2028. His market value is estimated at €1.5 million by Transfermarkt.
