Petar Gigić terminated his contract with Greek club Panseraikos and decided to return to the Serbian Superliga, joining the team Železničar Pančevo, where he played in the 2021/2022 season. At Železničar Pančevo, Gigić is seen as a replacement for the outgoing captain, Lazar Romanić.
