Transfer journalist Nicolò Schira reports that Jordi Cruijff and Ajax have contacted Perr Schuurs to offer him a one-year contract.

Nicolo Schira reports that Ajax are interested in acquiring Perr Schuurs and have approached the centre-back. The club is evaluating an offer of a contract until 2027.

Perr Schuurs said he is open to joining Ajax, although he doubts Ajax would be interested in a player with his profile.

Perr Schuurs, a 26-year-old Dutch centre-back, is a free agent after his contract with Torino was terminated. At the invitation of Ajax, which Jordi Cruijff arranged, Schuurs attended the Eredivisie match between his former clubs Ajax and Fortuna Sittard at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. Separately, FC Twente's technical director, Erik ten Hag, has previously expressed praise for the defender and stated that he would be welcome at the club. His current Transfermarkt market value is €1.00m, and he has yet to be capped by the Netherlands at the senior level.
