Pelle Boevink is set to return to FC Groningen and will sign a contract with the club. Groningen sought an extra keeper after Rijk Janse tore a cruciate ligament in his knee during training last month. The 28-year-old Dutch goalkeeper, who was with 2.Bundesliga club Greuter Fürth last season, previously played for Jong FC Groningen between 2017 and 2019 before moving to Germany seven years ago. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €300k.
