Pedro Lima from Palmeiras has joined NK Osijek.

Pedro Lima has joined NK Osijek on loan from Palmeiras with an option to buy next summer.

Pedro Lima, a promising 21-year-old midfielder from Palmeiras, was loaned to the Norwich U21 team last season. Despite his consistent performance, Norwich decided not to buy Lima, which took him back to Palmeiras. However, Palmeiras has forwarded its loan to NK Osijek from Croatia, and negotiations are in an advanced stage. Lima has received inquiries from Brazilian Serie A and Serie B clubs, but he wants to stay in European football. During his season in England, Pedro Lima played 19 games, scored six goals, and made four assists. He is now preparing to play in the HNL. During his time at Palmeiras, Pedro only had one opportunity to play for the first team, in a match against Bolivar in the Libertadores 2023, where the team coached by Abel Ferreira ended up defeated 3-1.
