According to information from César Luis Merlo, Mexican midfielder Pavel Pérez is traveling to the State of Mexico to report to Toluca, the team managed by Antonio 'Turco' Mohamed. The 27-year-old is a Chivas youth product and comes from Necaxa, a club he joined in the Apertura 2022. Merlo stated that Necaxa and Toluca have reached an agreement on the transfer and that it is expected to become official. The current back-to-back Mexican champions have acquired the player's full rights, and he will be available from Matchday 1 of the upcoming Clausura 2026 tournament.
