Pavel Kadeřábek, a 34-year-old Czech Republic national, has extended his contract with Sparta for another year. During the season after his return from Germany last year, he did not meet the conditions for an automatic contract extension but has now agreed with the club to continue. Kadeřábek stated that both he and the club were interested in continuing, and that the decision was therefore easy. Kadeřábek also mentioned discussions with sporting director Tomáš Rosický and coach Brian Priske regarding his role at the club.
