Mallorca was reportedly interested in signing Pau López, but the 31-year-old Spanish goalkeeper is said to be nearing a departure from Real Betis for Andorra. According to El Desmarque, the former Espanyol player is prepared to forgo the final two years of his contract in return for his release. He has reportedly chosen the club presided over by Gerard Piqué for personal reasons, to be nearer to his native Girona. López, who joined Real Betis in July 2025, has two caps for Spain. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €2.50m.
