Pogon Szczecin had announced an agreement was reached with Patryk Dziczek for him to join from summer 2026, and the club had explored options to acquire him immediately, including a cash transfer or an exchange. Recent reports suggested that a 300 thousand euro offer was made to Piast Gliwice, but president Łukasz Lewiński stated that Pogon Szczecin has not made an official offer for the player. The president said the first proposal from Pogon was a non-binding inquiry, and Piast Gliwice's response was that Patryk Dziczek would stay until the end of the round. Łukasz Lewiński considers other reported information to be media speculation. Kamil Grosicki had expressed hope that the president would take all possible actions to bring Patryk Dziczek to Pogon Szczecin immediately and stated that such a player is needed.
