Patrick van Aanholt, a 34-year-old experienced left-back, has officially signed with Sparta Rotterdam, an Eredivisie team in the Netherlands. He joins the Rotterdam team after spending over four months as a free agent following his departure from Galatasaray. His contract with Sparta Rotterdam will last until the end of the current season, with an option for an additional year.
