Reports have linked Panagiotis Kikianis of Adelaide United to AEK, and his situation is described as particularly interesting because he holds a Greek passport. His name is on the lists of Greek clubs, with AEK being one of the teams monitoring him. Kikianis has a positive view of the prospect of playing in the Greek league. The CEO of Adelaide United, Nathan Kosmina, has confirmed that European clubs show serious interest in players such as Kikianis. Additionally, head coach Ayrton Andrioli has stated his desire to retain Kikianis at least until the end of the season but has also admitted that a transfer remains a possibility. Kikianis recently signed a five-year contract with Adelaide United until the summer of 2029.

AEK is interested in acquiring Panagiotis Kikianis from Adelaide United. Lecce is also interested in the centre-back, whose estimated value is between two and three million euros.
