Ousmane Sow Transfer from Górnik Zabrze to Brøndby
Górnik Zabrze has officially announced that Ousmane Sow will miss Thursday's training to travel for a medical examination ahead of a potential transfer. The deadlock in negotiations has ended, and Łukasz Olkowicz confirms that Ousmane Sow is most likely to join Brøndby IF. It was reported that negotiations with Brøndby IF continued until late at night. According to Farzam Abolhosseini from tipsbladet.dk, Brøndby IF was willing to offer up to 2.4 million euros, while the other party wanted four million. Łukasz Olkowicz from 'Przegląd Sportowy Onet' reported that a compromise was reached at approximately three million euros. It is not known if the agreement includes any bonuses.
Brøndby has a strong interest in transferring Ousmane Sow and has been consistently increasing its offers. According to Polish media, the latest proposal is nearly three million euros plus unspecified bonuses. Farzam Abolhosseini confirms significant interest from Brøndby but states that the offered amount is significantly lower, currently between 2.2 and 2.4 million euros. Górnik Zabrze is demanding four million euros, a demand Brøndby is unwilling to meet at this time. At the beginning of last year, Górnik Zabrze paid 250 thousand euros for Sow.
Brøndby IF are the leading club in the effort to sign Ousmane Sow, a 25-year-old French-Senegalese winger, from Górnik Zabrze, despite interest from Portsmouth and Viktoria Plzeň. The winger has reportedly rejected the possibility of joining the Championship club because he is unimpressed with their current sporting situation. Brøndby have submitted multiple offers, with the latest valued at approximately €3 million plus bonuses. This proposal is described as being irresistible for Górnik Zabrze, who need to raise funds due to a lack of financial support from their owner. It is now described as being a matter of days before Sow leaves the Polish club. Sow, who joined Górnik in February 2025 from Lierse Kempenzonen for a reported €200,000, has scored 7 goals and provided 2 assists in 16 Ekstraklasa appearances this season. His contract with the Polish club is valid until June 30, 2027, and his market value is currently €1.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
