Everton are very interested in FC Midtjylland's 21-year-old Senegalese central defender, Ousmane Diao. The Danish club is prepared to let the player leave but is demanding a fee between 15 and 20 million euros. A number of other clubs are also reportedly interested, including Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Porto, Benfica, Fulham, Liverpool, Crystal Palace, and Bournemouth. Red Bull Leipzig previously had an initial offer of 12 million euros rejected by Midtjylland. The Senegal U23 international joined the club in July 2024 and his contract runs until 2029. His current market value is €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
