Amedspor is one of several possible destinations for 22-year-old Ivorian Stade de Reims forward Oumar Diakité, who has reportedly been informed he is not in the club's plans and can find a new team. While his future is resolved, the player has been moved to the Reims reserve side. Reports earlier in the summer suggested a transfer fee of around €3 million could be required for Diakité, and he is expected to receive a five-figure weekly salary. There is also interest from the Championship, with Bolton Wanderers having submitted an initial offer. Queens Park Rangers and Preston North End have also been credited with an interest, alongside Basel and other clubs in Turkey, while a previously reported link with Schalke 04 is now said to have diminished. Diakité, who has 31 caps and 6 goals for Ivory Coast, joined Reims in July 2023 for a €2.5 million fee and his contract runs until 2028. His current market value is €5.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
