According to Tuttomercato, central defender Oumar Barry is transferring from Hellas Verona to Gubbio on a two-year contract. Medical examinations and an official announcement are expected in the next few hours. Although Barry had one year left on his contract, Hellas Verona let him leave on a free transfer but retained a percentage on any future resale.

He is a left-footed player who can be utilized as both a center-back and a left-back. In Italy, he has previously played at the youth level for Genoa and Verona.
