Discussions took place concerning a potential loan return for 19-year-old Polish midfielder Oskar Kubiak to Arka Gdynia, the club he had departed from at the end of June to join Slavia Prague. While Slavia's sports director was reportedly open to the arrangement, the Prague team's coach, Jindřich Trpišovský, opposed the move. It is said that Trpišovský believes strongly in the player and wants to have him available. The president of Arka Gdynia, Wojciech Pertkiewicz, confirmed that the topic existed but stated that he thought it would not happen. Pertkiewicz also mentioned that the chance of a loan would have been much greater if Kubiak had received playing time in previous matches. Kubiak's contract with Slavia Prague is valid until June 30, 2030. The Poland U20 international has two caps and a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.50m.
