Kicker reports that Oluwaseun Ogbemudia has signed an early contract extension with Union Berlin and will play for SV Waldhof Mannheim in the second half of the 2025/26 season. The Bundesliga club has stated that the 19-year-old will be loaned for half a year to the 3. Liga, where it is expected that he will gain professional-level match experience.

Union will also look for a loan destination for the young players David Preu and Oluwaseun Ogbemudia. Regarding a possible loan for the two, Heldt said they will handle everything situationally and will make a decision together with the players on what makes sense and what they need for further development. He added that they have already done this and will now see that they can implement it.
