Oleksandr Romanchuk, a Ukrainian defender for Universitatea Craiova, is being monitored by three Bundesliga clubs: Werder Bremen, Augsburg, and Freiburg. Dynamo Kyiv has also placed the 26-year-old on its shortlist. According to reports, Universitatea Craiova is requesting a transfer fee of €3 million for the player. He joined the club in July 2025 from Kryvbas for a fee of €750,000 and his contract runs until June 2028. The current asking price follows a report from May 2026 that the club would not sell for under €2 million, and another from April 2026 of a potential fee in the range of €2 million to €3 million. He has not been capped by the Ukrainian national team.
