FK Csíkszereda have officially announced that they have signed Ódor Máté. The 25-year-old right back has transferred from Vasas, the team that won NB II, and has joined the Székelyföld team, which plays in the Romanian top division.

An agreement has been reached between Vasas and Csíkszereda for defender Ódor Máté to join the Romanian club on a one-year loan with an option to buy, according to Nemzeti Sport. The transfer may be announced by the clubs this week.

Szabó István, the head coach of Romanian Superliga side FK Csíkszereda, is interested in signing 25-year-old Hungarian Vasas right-back Máté Ódor. The player joined the team's training camp in Austria this week and has played in a friendly match against Serbian first-division team FK Radnicski. It is understood that negotiations have started for Ódor, who has been with Vasas since 2022 but his first-team appearances were limited to the Magyar Kupa last season. The potential move would be a loan, and if finalized, Ódor would be the fourth player the new coach has signed from Hungary. His contract with Vasas is due to expire on June 30, 2026. The defender has one cap for Hungary's U17 team. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €50k.
