Welsh Centre-Back Owen Bevan, 22, has signed a two-year contract with Dundee FC, with the club holding an option to extend the deal by a further year. The agreement is subject to Scottish FA clearance and international approval. Owen Bevan had been with Dundee FC as a trialist throughout the preseason. Dundee FC thanked AFC Bournemouth for their support in the process. Steven Pressley stated that Owen Bevan was impressive during preseason and described him as a player with significant potential. Owen Bevan said the manager was a major influence on his decision to join and that he is pleased with the style of football Dundee FC aims to play. He has earned 5 caps for the Wales U21 team.
