Tuttomercato has reported that Empoli is on the verge of acquiring defender Nosa Edward Obaretin from Napoli on loan until the end of the season. The deal reportedly includes an option for Empoli to purchase Obaretin permanently, with the overall transaction estimated to be around 4 million euros. Obaretin, who had returned to Napoli after spending last season on loan with Bari in Serie B, is set for another temporary move to Empoli. Agreements have been reached for his transfer to Tuscany. According to Obaretin's agent, Lorenzo Lazzeri, although there were other interested clubs such as Palermo, the final decision depended on Napoli's evaluations. The entire operation, encompassing both the loan and potential permanent acquisition, is valued at approximately 4 million euros.
