Noah Makanza, a 21-year-old midfielder, is entering his final contract year at KV Mechelen after a successful loan spell with Helmond Sport in the Dutch second division. LASK Linz, FC Groningen, and Sparta Rotterdam are showing interest in the player. KV Mechelen would like to retain Makanza, but may have to sell him if a new contract is not signed. It is expected that Makanza will make a decision about his future following his participation in the Tournoi Maurice Revello with Jong Congo in June.
