According to Sportal.bg, the management of Botev Plovdiv held a phone conversation with Arda's management, during which it was categorically stated that the club from Kardzhali has no interest and has never had any interest in Nikolay Minkov.

According to 'Tema Sport', Botev (Plovdiv) right-back Nikolay Minkov is expected to join Arda in the summer. The 28-year-old's contract with Botev (Plovdiv) expires, allowing him to move to Arda as a free agent after they offered him better terms than Botev (Plovdiv) did for a renewal. Another reason for Minkov's departure is that Botev has reportedly secured his replacement, having reached a preliminary agreement with a new right-back.
