WSG Tirol has officially announced the permanent signing of their former striker, Nikolai Baden Frederiksen, who was recently without a club. The Danish player had been training with the Tyrolean team and managed to impress during this trial period. WSG manager Stefan Köck stated that the club is pleased to bring back a player who has already impressively demonstrated his qualities with them, adding that his record from the 2020/21 season speaks for itself. Köck also expressed the conviction that Frederiksen, whose footballing abilities are undisputed, can once again play an important role. The striker himself said he is overjoyed to return, considering WSG Tirol to be like his second family. Frederiksen previously had a successful loan spell with the club from Juventus Turin in the 2020/21 season, scoring 18 goals, before subsequent moves to clubs including Vitesse Arnheim and Ferencvaros.
