Nikola Neychev, a 22-year-old Bulgarian centre-back who joined Lokomotiv Sofia in January 2026, is considering leaving the club. Although his contract runs until June 2028, he may depart in the winter. Neychev is not satisfied with his status as a reserve under Lyuboslav Penev. He has two caps for the Bulgaria U21 national team, and Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €150k.
