According to Sportal.bg, Botev Plovdiv will loan Bulgarian attacking midfielder Nikola Iliev to Septemvri Sofia. The management at the Plovdiv club decided on the move to allow the 22-year-old footballer to get more playing time. Since the start of the new season, the midfielder has participated in five matches and was not brought on in the last two games. The loan comes less than three months after Iliev signed a new contract until 2030. He returned to the club from Inter in the summer of 2024. The Bulgarian international has 11 caps for his country and a current Transfermarkt market value of €800k.
