Robert Kuzmič, the president, and Mario Rubeša, the sporting director, are working to reach an agreement on extending the contract with Niko Kasalo, a 20-year-old Slovenian winger. Mura wants to secure his long-term status at the club promptly. If an agreement is not reached, Niko Kasalo could leave the club without transfer compensation when his contract expires. Mura extended Kasalo's contract last year and now wants to secure a new, longer-term deal. Kasalo joined NS Mura in July 2023 and has two caps for the Slovenia U21 national team. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated at €250k.
