Agent Vladimir Kuzmichev, representing 30-year-old Russian centre-back Nikita Chernov, stated: "We have not yet met with the management of Lokomotiv. But after the weekend, a meeting is planned with the sporting director. As I understand, we will discuss the possibility of Nikita moving to the club. There is interest from other clubs as well." Kuzmichev also said that Nikita will be a free agent after the end of the championship and that several clubs are showing concrete interest. Chernov is currently on loan at Krylya Sovetov Samara from Spartak Moscow. The defender has two caps for Russia and a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.50m.
