Italian centre-back Nicolò Brighenti, 36, has left Catanzaro to return to L.R. Vicenza on a permanent transfer. L.R. Vicenza announced that it has acquired the sporting rights of Nicolò Brighenti from US Catanzaro Calcio 1929 on a permanent basis until June 30, 2028. Catanzaro confirmed the permanent transfer of the defender, who joined the club in July 2022, to L.R. Vicenza. Catanzaro also stated that the club accepted the player's request to continue his professional career closer to his family for family reasons. Brighenti has one cap for Italy's U20 team and his current market value is €200k according to Transfermarkt.
