Austrian goalkeeper Nicolas Kristof, 26, has extended his contract early by two years until 2029; it was originally valid until 2027. The extension was announced by SV Elversberg. SVE sporting director Christian Weber stated that they are very pleased they were able to extend Nicolas' contract and thus keep another important player from the promotion team. Weber added that Kristof has accompanied them from the Regionalliga to the Bundesliga and has made a major contribution to the fantastic development of SVE. Kristof joined the club in July 2021 and has not yet been capped by Austria at the senior level. His current market value is €2.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
