US Pianese has announced that it has reached an agreement to sign Italian central defender Nicola Pintus from Cagliari on a temporary basis. The player, born in 2005, came through Cagliari's youth sector before making his Serie A debut with the club. During the previous season, Pintus had his first senior team experience away from his parent club during a six-month loan at Cosenza, where he received limited playing time. His move to Pianese is a new experience for him in Serie C. Pintus reportedly stated that from the beginning he had the impression of arriving at a serious club with a clear project and ambition, adding that his goal is to make himself available to the team and coach to continue his growth. His contract with Cagliari is set to expire on 30/06/2029 and his current market value is €350k, according to Transfermarkt.
