Empoli, having identified 26-year-old Italian Nicola Pietrangeli as an ideal reinforcement for their defense, is now close to finalizing a deal for the central defender. The Tuscan club accelerated negotiations in the last few hours. According to Sky, an agreement has been reached with Südtirol for a permanent transfer. Pietrangeli is now preparing to leave Südtirol, which he joined on 06/07/2024, to join Empoli. His contract with Südtirol is set to expire on 30/06/2027, and he has a current Transfermarkt market value of €1.30m.
