Niclas Füllkrug Transfer from West Ham United to Milan
Amid West Ham's striker problems, an exit in January for 32-year-old German international Niclas Füllkrug is considered the best option for all parties. He has made 6 appearances in the Premier League this season without scoring a goal or providing an assist. According to Claret & Hugh, AC Milan would be open to a swap deal that would see their number nine, Santiago Gimenez, move to the London club in exchange for Füllkrug. The Italian side reportedly views the German as a low-risk option because of his record in the Bundesliga. An opportunity for West Ham has arisen as Gimenez has scored just one goal in 11 appearances for Milan, and a potential deal would allow West Ham to secure a replacement immediately if Gimenez agrees to the move. Füllkrug, who has 24 caps and 14 goals for Germany, joined West Ham in August 2024 and has a contract until 2028. His current market value is €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt. VfL Wolfsburg and SV Werder Bremen have also been linked with the striker.
