German Centre-Back Nick Seidel, 21, is joining SC Verl on a permanent transfer. The Franconians will receive just under €100,000 in transfer fee for the move. FCN sporting director Joti Chatzialexiou, 50, said on the club website that Nick collected a solid amount of playing time in the 3. Liga last season, which has helped him continue his development. He added that they are already well covered in his position, which is why they wanted to find a good solution for him. Chatzialexiou stated that they have succeeded in doing that with the transfer to SC Verl, and they wish him all the best for his future. Seidel's contract at SC Verl will run until June 30, 2029, and his market value is currently estimated by Transfermarkt at €250k. During the 2025/2026 season, his development included 21 appearances in the 3. Liga and eight in the 2. Bundesliga, alongside matches in various youth and regional leagues.
