Niccolò Zanellato is currently not included in the technical plans at Catania. Pontedera has shown interest in acquiring him to bring experience to their midfield, particularly in the mezzala position. The Tuscan club is actively looking to strengthen their midfield with seasoned players, and Zanellato, born in 1998, has been identified as one of the two main targets by Pontedera's management. Alongside Zanellato, they are also considering Mario Prezioso, a former Napoli youth player now at Campobasso, who has already made 18 appearances and scored once this season.
